Microsoft’s new Windows 10X operating system for dual screens (First Look)

Microsoft’s new Windows 10X operating system for dual screens (First Look)

Microsoft released its first emulator for Windows 10X today, allowing developers to get a first look at the new operating system variant for dual-screen devices. Microsoft wants to give developers a head start on optimizing apps before devices launch later this year, so this basic emulator provides an early look at Windows 10X before it’s finalized.

What size should I make a partition to appear as a standard number e.g 10gb 100Gb perfect

What size should I make a partition to appear as a standard number e.g 10gb 100Gb perfect

For every 10GB add 8MB.

For every 100GB add 80MB.

For Perfect 100GB Drive.

100GB Drive = 100 X 1024 = 102400MB (Displayed as 99.99GB)

Perfect 100GB Drive = 10 x 10240 + 10 x 8 = 102480MB (Displayed as 100.00GB)

WEN.RU

Project WEN.RU will closed

WAP builder 10 years old.

For many Internet projects, and not the Internet projects is quite a long time.

The vast majority of its competitors did not survive, and half that age.

It is very hard step, however the project long time ago crossed the border of payback and unfortunately will be closed.

WEN.RU Administration is grateful to all WAP-masters who believed us and all these years remained with us.

Closing will not instantaneous. It will step by step so that all WAP-master to the maximum were able to migrate their projects in other places, as well as to pick up their valuabled files.

08.25.2015 - will close the registration of new sites. Existing sites will work, editing will be available in all possible ways.

08.31.2015 - page editors will be closed. Sites will continue to work, as the FTP access will be available to read and to change.

07.09.2015 - FTP access will be closed to change. Will be read-only access. Sites will continue to work.

09.14.2015 - will opened service of IP addresses forwarding. This allows WAP-masters to point the address of his site to another IP (a virtual hosting, etc.) and to temporarily raise their project elsewhere. Probably this service will be launched even earlier.

09.25.2015 - sites stop working, FTP access will be closed. Will the ability to request backup the content of your site.

01.01.2016 - forwarding of IP addresses will stop working too.

SSD (solid state drive)

A solid-state drive ( SSD ), or solid-state disk  is a solid-state storage device that uses
integrated circuit assemblies as memory to store data persistently . SSD technology primarily uses electronic interfaces compatible with traditional
block input/output (I/O) hard disk drives (HDDs), which permit simple replacements in common applications.  New I/O interfaces like SATA Express and M.2 have been designed to address specific requirements of the SSD technology.
SSDs have no moving mechanical components. This distinguishes them from traditional
electromechanical drives such as hard disk drives (HDDs) or floppy disks , which contain spinning disks and movable read/write heads . Compared with electromechanical drives, SSDs are typically more resistant to physical shock, run silently, have quicker
access time and lower latency . [ However, while the price of SSDs has continued to decline over time (24 cents per gigabyte as of 2017),  consumer-grade SSDs are (as of 2017) still roughly four times more expensive per unit of storage than consumer-grade HDDs.
As of 2017, most SSDs use 3D TLC NAND-based flash memory , which is a type of non-volatile memory that retains data when power is lost. For applications requiring fast access but not necessarily data persistence after power loss, SSDs may be constructed from random-access memory (RAM). Such devices may employ batteries as integrated power sources to retain data for a certain amount of time after external power is lost.
However, all SSDs still store data in electrical charges, which slowly leak over time if left without power. This causes worn out drives (that passed their endurance rating) to start losing data typically after one (if stored at 30°C) to two (at 25°C) years in storage; for new drives it takes longer . Therefore, SSDs are not suited for archival purposes.
Hybrid drives or solid-state hybrid drives (SSHDs) combine the features of SSDs and HDDs in the same unit, containing a large hard disk drive and an SSD cache to improve performance of frequently accessed data.

How to fix a corrupted Recycle Bin in Windows 7? (Solved)

Please proceed with the following support steps....

1. Open an elevated Command Prompt window. To open an elevated Command Prompt, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-clickCommand Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

2. Type the following command and press ENTER:

rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin

(This clears out the $Recycle.bin folder for the C:\ drive. You may have to do this for each hard disk partition in your system.)

3. Type exit to close the Command Prompt window.

I hope this information is beneficial.

Thumbnail for MKV MP4 Windows (Media Preview)

Media Preview

Fed up with Windows Explorer not always showing thumbnails for all of your media files? Then get Media Preview for free.[*]
First focused on video files, now Media Preview also supports audio files and the most common image file formats.

Media Preview, engineered for performance and scalability, is an extension for Windows' File Explorer to generate and display media file thumbnails.

Since 2007, with the massive migration from 32- to 64-bit Windows, media thumbnailing in Windows' File Explorer has been in a bad state. Windows natively handles very few media file formats while third-party applications didn't work on 64-bit versions of Windows and never have been updated to fix this. Late 2011, the first version of Icaros surfaced to mitigate this issue at the cost of computers' stability because of its bad software design, letting enthusiasts with big promises but mixed results.

Early 2012, Media Preview was introduced to definitively address the situation, offering what's expected from any Windows application: a streamlined and stable application, requiring just a few clicks to be installed and to work on any system configurations. It has been so successful that subsequent versions of Icaros have since completely replicated the software architecture of Media Preview and also included most of the innovative functionalities offered by Media Preview.

Steam Games For Android IPhone PC OR MAC

Steam Games For Android IPhone PC OR MAC

Steam is a digital distribution platform developed by Valve Corporation, which offers digital rights management (DRM), multiplayer gaming, video streaming and social networking services. Steam provides the user with installation and automatic updating of games, and community features such as friends lists and groups, cloud saving, and in-game voice and chat functionality. The software provides a freely available application programming interface (API) called Steamworks, which developers can use to integrate many of Steam's functions into their products, including networking, matchmaking, in-game achievements, micro-transactions, and support for user-created content through Steam Workshop. Though initially developed for use on Microsoft Windows operating systems, versions for OS X and Linux were later released. Mobile apps with connected functionality with the main software were later released for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices in the 2010s
