Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has officially taken its new linear sports portfolio, branded as Unite8 Sports channels, live across India after securing approval from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Viewers will be able to tune in through major distribution partners including Dish TV, Tata Play, Airtel Digital TV, Sun Direct, Siti Networks and several regional cable operators across the country. The channels aim to bring a wide mix of live sporting action, spanning cricket, football, kabaddi, badminton, wrestling, boxing and combat sports under one umbrella.

A key highlight of the rollout is its focus on major global sporting events, including coverage plans around the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, which is set to begin on 11 June 2026..

earlier reported that Zee was preparing to exit English entertainment on linear television and redeploy Zee Café and &flix into sports, creating four feeds through SD and HD..

So it seems that Zee has stopped the linear TV broadcasting of Zee Cafe SD & HD, & Flix SD & HD. These channels have been closed.

Actually, this channel has been running with me for a long time. But due to lack of time, I could not update it. They changed their logo from 01/06/2026 time 00:00. Although they had already started broadcasting sports. We already knew that they would be promoted to a sports channel. Earlier, only ILT was being broadcast on it, but now from today, some international documentaries related to football are also being broadcast on it and it seems that they will start broadcasting well very soon.

These changes have been made across all DTH, Cable, Satellite networks and over all frequencies.
